BRI - Shift 3 (15%) (United States of America - Michigan)

A BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Maintenance Technician II performs machine maintenance and facility repairs on most of the site&s;s machines according to safety regulations and processes to support the achievement of the site&s;s business goals and objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO


  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment as required.
  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain the site&s;s equipment.
  • Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
  • Perform mechanic work including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Perform annual and semi-annual preventive maintenance on all machines, equipment and plant facility.
  • May perform basic plumbing or electrical maintenance functions.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Perform major repairs on production equipment.
  • Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
  • Is trained on and can independently perform maintenance on most of the machines in the shop.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS


  • 2
    Years Experience in production equipment maintenance (Required)
  • Electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and/or industrial Experience (Preferred)
  • Plumbing and HVAC experience (Preferred)
