BRI - Shift 3 (15%) (United States of America - Michigan)
A BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Maintenance Technician II performs machine maintenance and facility repairs on most of the site&s;s machines according to safety regulations and processes to support the achievement of the site&s;s business goals and objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment as required.
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain the site&s;s equipment.
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Perform mechanic work including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform annual and semi-annual preventive maintenance on all machines, equipment and plant facility.
- May perform basic plumbing or electrical maintenance functions.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Perform major repairs on production equipment.
- Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
- Is trained on and can independently perform maintenance on most of the machines in the shop.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- 2
Years Experience in production equipment maintenance (Required) - Electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and/or industrial Experience (Preferred)
- Plumbing and HVAC experience (Preferred)
